Basically the person leading will say the line and do a motion to go with it. The motions should build in intensity. Also tell the group that when you say 1 they say 2 and so on.

Streets and allies

ages:8 and up

Pick 2 players one to chase and one to be chased. then divide the rest of the players into groups. have each group stand in a line (all the lines should be parallel and everyone should face the same direction)******** Something like that. have each person in the group put their arms out to the side. ******** when players are touching people in their group it is streets, then if you say allies they must turn 90 degrees and touch players in the other groups. The players chasing and being chased must run through these streets and allies. You may call streets or allies to make it more difficult for them.

It is a really good arm exercise for the groups.

One voice

age: 10 and up

Everyone stands in a circle and will count in unison to 30. Sounds pretty easy but it takes concentration. Every time you come to a number which is a multiple of 3 say the number then clap once. (in unison) Every time you come to a multiple of 5 clap twice after saying the number. When you come to multiples of 3 and 5 clap three times. If you mess up the group must start over.

Cheat sheet! {number(claps)}

3 (1),5 (2),6 (1),9 (1),10 (2),12 (1),15 (3),18 (1),20 (2),21 (1),24 (1),25 (2),27 (1),30 (3)

Kitty wants a corner

age:8 and up

Everyone stands in a circle with one person in the middle being the "kitty." The kitty walks up to one of the circle members and says kitty wants a corner, this person can respond by saying go ask my neighbor or yes. If the person says go ask my neighbor the kitty asks the next person in the circle. While the kitty's back is turned two circle members can try and switch spots. The kitty must try and get a spot in the circle, whoever is left in the middle is the kitty.

If the person says yes, then everyone in the circle switches to a new place and whoever is the last person in the circle is the kitty.
